Another simple and one of the most effective home remedies for sweaty palms is provided by tea bags. Dip five tea bags in a glass of hot water and let them stay for few minutes. Later when water is bearably hot soak hands in this mixture for 20 minutes. The tannic acid present in the tea works as effective antiperspirant and reduces the intensity of sweating to a large extent. Holding tea bags in the hands tightly also works as one of the simple and easy home remedies for sweaty palms.

Lime also provides couple of effective home remedies for sweaty palms. Cut fresh key lime and topically apply on the palms, rub the palms for at least 5 minutes and then allow the juice to dry in the open air. Lime juice reduces the openings of sweat glands and sweating too. Intake of lime juice is also beneficial and is recommended as one of effective home remedies for sweaty palms.

Make fine powder of camphor at least four teaspoons and mix it with one liter of water. Allow this mixture to settle down for two weeks. Later use it to apply on the hands for reduced sweating. Camphor is excellent astringent and provides one of the best home remedies for sweaty palms.

Apple cider vinegar works as one of the simplest and effective home remedies for sweaty palms. Apply apple cider vinegar on palms and allow it to stay overnight, later wash it off in the morning with plain water. This reduces sweating to a large extent.

Some people have found regular use of talcum powder as effective remedy for controlling excessive sweating in palms. Talcum powder can block the sweat pores to reduce sweating temporarily and allow a person to work and meet people without facing any embarrassment.

Drinking wheat grass juice regularly is another one of the most trusted and effective home remedies for sweaty palms. Wheat grass is rich source of vitamin B and protein and also supplements the body with chlorophyll, calcium, fiber and iron. These nutrients work very effectively to reduce sweating.

Drink plenty of cold water and cold fruit juices, the cold juices and water reduce the body's temperature and body's mechanism does not feel the need to release sweat thereby causing lesser sweat secretion in the palms too. Intake of foods which are rich in iodine is very supportive diet for reducing sweating and provides relief from the problem of sweaty palms too very effectively. Using sea salt in cooking and consumption of mayonnaise, eggs and fish provide rich content of iodine to effectively alleviate the problem of sweaty palms. Avoid vegetables like broccoli, white onion, asparagus and poultry products like meat, beef, liver and turkey. Completely avoid caffeine and alcohol intake, these drinks increase temperature of the body and body releases more sweat exacerbating the problem.
